The King & Queen are once more come to their Winter Residence, beautiful Castle VanDerveer in wild Stanardshire in County Greene.
As is their royal custom, they open their doors and wine cellar to noble guests and traveling players to celebrate The Midwinter Feast Day of Saint...... What's-His-Name.
Are you a Noble Revelerworthy of rasing a goblet with Their Royal Majesties? Are you ready for a fully catered Feast in Middle Ages England, with plentiful Ale and Wine, minstrels and jugglers and players, and the finest companionship, all in one of the most delightful venues in Central Virginia?
Are you ready to garb up in Medieval, Renaissance, Tudor, LOTR, Fantasy, Pirate, Viking, Barbarian, or anything else that would mostly fit in with the occasion?
Are you ready to challenge The Killer Rabbit of Caerbannog??
Of course you are!
So put aside your questing, raiding, crusading and courtly scheming, adorn yourself with that tunic, corset or wolf fur cloak, strap on those blades and axes, grab your favorite tankard, goblet, or drinking horn (we strongly recommend bringing your own drinking vessel), and prepare for a unique evening of entertainment and revelry. And do not forget your noble (or notorious) title, name, and story, for the King is well known for calling out all those who grace his feasting hall.
For those who staying at Court throughout the weekend (and local nobles), there will be our traditional screening of Monty Python and the Holy Grail on Friday evening (February 7, 2020) at 8 p.m. in the Zen Barn Cinema.
